About Md Saidul Islam

Md Saidul Islam (born: 27 February 1991) is a Bangladeshi painter and Digital Artist. Born into a middle-class family in Dhaka, this painter spent his childhood in the old town. The drawing was his hobby since school life, but he never had the opportunity to learn in an institutional way. However, while studying at the university, his artistic identity began to be revealed for various reasons.

Md Saidul Islam studied in the science department. He completed his Masters’s degree in Computer Science and engineering in 2016 from East-West University. As much as he has made a name for himself in the art sector, he has also worked in his study-related sectors too. He developed a Bangla writing app called ‘WriteBangla‘ in 2010 which became a popular online tool of Bangla writing for the youth generation of Bangladesh before the Android era. He also founded  ‘WebSolutionBD.net‘ in his first year of university, and still pursuing his professional career through this institution.

Even after all this, his only identity is known to most people, and that is his painter/artist identity. Md Saidul Islam is a Bangladeshi painter who is known for his Bangabandhu painting series’. In this series, he has painted 75 paintings on the father of the nation of Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, most of which were portrait paintings.

Md Saidul Islam is also credited for the painting series of the present Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina, the eldest daughter of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. He has painted 6 portraits in this series so far.
