About Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev
Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev is a former Nepal King and the last ceremonial King in the history of Nepal. He is also known to the World as the last Hindu King of the World. He was born on July 7, 1947, in Narayanhiti Durbar Square, Kathmandu, Nepal. As of 2023, Gyanendra is 76 years old with 5 feet and 10 inches tall in height.
He first became king in 1951, at an early age when his grandfather Tribhuvan was in exile. He again became king in 2001 after the royal massacre of former king Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev. His reign ended in 2008 when Nepal was constituted as the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal.

Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev completed his high school education at St. Joseph’s School in Darjeeling, India. He then returned back to Nepal and graduated from Tribhuvan University. He was good at his educational studies and was also involved in sports while studying in high school.

Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev is the last successor of the Royal Family and Shah Dynasty. His parents are King Mahendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev and Indra Rajya Lakshmi Devi Shah and the grandson of King Tribhuvan Bir Bikram Shah Dev.
He had two brothers, older brother King Birendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev and younger brother Prince Dhirendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev, he also had a sister named Sharada Rajya Lakshmi Devi but unfortunately, three of them were killed in the 2001 Royal Massacre. He has the youngest sister named Shobha Rajya Lakshmi Devi who is still alive.
